Game Drive through the Bush

Set out in an open-air safari vehicle for a deep dive into the African savanna. Our expert rangers will guide you on a journey to track iconic wildlife and discover the fascinating species that call this reserve home.

Game Tracking: Guided Bush Walk

Step off the beaten path and onto the ground for a guided walk. This is where the bush truly comes alive; you will learn to read tracks, identify bird calls, and discover the smaller wonders of the ecosystem that are often missed from a vehicle.

Game Viewing: Observation from a Hide

For a unique and peaceful perspective, spend some time in our camouflaged observation hide. Overlooking a popular watering hole, this allows you to watch wildlife behave naturally without them ever knowing you are there.

We take our dining experience away from the lodge and directly into the heart of nature.

Bush Breakfast

Why eat indoors when you can have the savanna as your dining room? We welcome you to a secluded bush location for a full chef-prepared breakfast. Enjoy fresh coffee and a hot meal surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.

Bush Dinner

Experience the ultimate African night. We whisk you away from the lodge to a private clearing in the bush for a dinner served under a canopy of stars. With a crackling fire and the distant sounds of the night, this is wilderness dining at its most magical.

Sundowner

As the heat of the day fades, we stop at a scenic viewpoint to celebrate the "Golden Hour." Watch the sunset with a refreshing drink in hand and a selection of gourmet snacks—a timeless safari tradition.

Omukuyu Wildlife Lodge is perfectly positioned for you to discover the historical and natural wonders of Northern Namibia. 

Etosha National Park (approx. 1.5 hours drive) 

Experience one of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. We are conveniently located for a day trip to the eastern entrance (Namutoni Gate), where you can witness vast herds of elephants, lions, and giraffes around the famous Etosha Pan. 

Lake Guinas & Lake Otjikoto 

Visit Namibia’s only permanent natural lakes. These mysterious sinkholes are steeped in history; Lake Otjikoto is famous for the German WWI weaponry resting at its bottom, while Lake Guinas is known for its breathtaking turquoise waters and rare fish species. 

The Mining Town of Tsumeb

Just a short drive further, the town of Tsumeb offers a glimpse into Namibia’s rich geological past. Visit the Tsumeb Museum to see world-renowned mineral collections and fascinating historical artifacts from the region’s mining and colonial era. 

The Hoba Meteorite 

While you are in the "Maize Triangle," don't miss the chance to see the world’s largest intact meteorite. A short detour brings you face-to-face with this 60-ton visitor from outer space.
